What is the 11+ Test?
- 11+ test, 11 plus tests or Eleven plus exam papers are slightly different names given to the tests set for pupils at the age of eleven in order to select pupils to go to certain schools. In NI they are/were referred to as the Northern Ireland Transfer Test.
- The 11+ test is used in both state schools and private/independent schools but not all of either.
