Is GL Assessment a good exam board?

  • GL Assessment have more sample materials than some other exam boards. However, this sample material is not always completely useful because of the ever changing nature of the tests.
  • GL Assessment papers test English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
  • The sample materials provided by GL Assesment are quite far removed from the real exam. Lots of schools are now changing to using CEM, to try and be different or just to switch up what resources they are using.
  • Most GL exams last around 45 minutes and questions are usually in multiple-choice format though some use a written answer format for verbal and maths tests.
